10月27日讯 姆巴佩在个人社媒发布法语、中文、英语三语致歉声明，就自己的不妥言辞表示歉意。

姆巴佩声明

“在近期的一次采访中，我对一张以我为主角的图片作出了回应。我的言辞欠妥，现在我理解，这些话损伤了我国以及世界各地华人社区的许多人。我向一切被我的言辞所损伤的人抱愧。这绝非我的原意。我对我国人民及其前史怀有深深的敬意，我诚心感到抱愧。基利安·姆巴佩”

法语版别声明：

“Lors d'une récente interview, j'ai réagi à une image de moi me mettant en scène. Ce propos était maladroit, et je comprends aujourd'hui qu'il a blessé de nombreuses personnes en Chine et au sein de la communauté chinoise à travers le monde.

Je présente mes excuses à toutes celles et ceux que mes mots ont heurtés. Ce n'était absolument pas mon intention. J'ai un profond respect pour le peuple chinois et son histoire, et je suis sincèrement désolé.
